OUR PUBLIC IMAGE REGISTER
Artwork, sources & rights.
Every image on HaddyDino must tell the truth about what it depicts — and about our right to display it.
Illustration is not photographic evidence. We distinguish artistic reconstructions from real photographs, fossils, and bronze sculpture. Original illustrations are concept artwork, not accurate records of 1858, the artist's 2003 sculpture, or incomplete anatomy.
How we use images
We favor original art drawn for HaddyDino, photographs taken with permission, U.S. public-domain material, and third-party images with clearly documented compatible licenses. Attribution alone is not permission. We do not copy images from museums, archives, newspapers, social media or school projects without suitable rights or a well-supported exception.
Historic documentation remains separate from creative illustration. Credits below apply to the exact source files used; changing or replacing a file requires a new review.

About photos of the real Haddy
Haddy is a bronze sculpture by John Giannotti, installed in downtown Haddonfield in October 2003. We avoid copying the sculpture as site artwork. Before featuring a prominent dedicated portrait of the sculpture, we plan to verify the relevant permission or legal basis. Our original hadrosaur illustration is intentionally separate.

Historical Society and other archives
We can research historical facts and independently write about them, but access to a historical collection does not automatically authorize us to republish its scans or photographs. The Historical Society of Haddonfield requires separate consideration for publication and exhibition of its holdings.
